Scientific name - Niponia nodulosa
The listing is for bulk quantities, of a RARE species of millipede that is famous for their flat, feather-like body. Fully grown adults measure around 20mm.
These are CAPTIVE BRED, with this stock originating from Japan.
The 3 sizes available are:
1. Small - 0.5-0.75cm juveniles
2. Medium - 0.75-1cm grown on juveniles
3. Large - 1cm subadults/adults
The juveniles and adults feed mainly on decaying wood and leaf mulch (decayed leaf litter). Additional supplements such as calcium (limestone/cuttlefish bone), fruits & veg, moss, and protein such as fish food should be offered as part of their balanced diet.
